Our 2019 Merlot is much fuller bodied than your typical Merlot and more resembles a fine, well-aged Bordeaux style wine. This wine is aged for 2 years in French oak barrels which adds backbone to support the rich fruit and medium tannins.  This is a fine example of the magic that a robust Bordeaux style wine can offer.  Initially it starts out a bit racy with rich fruit, pepper and chocolate. After additional time breathing, it opens beautifully as the flavors and aromas morph into more complexity resembling black currants, tobacco and truffles.  This wine is sure to please even the most demanding connoisseur.
